APRIL 2005 by Bob Mulligan

April 2005 is a genuine new beginning in life. We have a powerful eclipse on the 8th of the month that will force us all in a new direction. Something is ending now and we are given an opportunity to put many troubling things to rest. This is so our hands are free to accept the new and rapidly emerging current of a better life. The big problem this month can be over-reach. The solution is to be measured in our approach to life and get rid of what isn’t working any more. This allows more time for the important things. Our companion lunar eclipse on the 24th of the month puts us securely in our new position. The evolving current of life will carry us to a massive new and safer footing after months of rapid and uncertain change.

From the 1st to the 7th we are folding up and putting away so many things from the past. Pain and suffering created by past uncertainty can end now. This week is “the calm before the storm.”

Starting with the 8th and lasting until the 16th we are being washed overboard in the new life wave, a new current of energy. It is impossible to stand still now. We are prompted to do something about our past and the relationship pattern.

From the 17th to the 23rd we are integrating and assimilating powerful changes from last week. We are forming some new alliances. Seize the opportunity.

From the 24th until the 30th we are exploring new relationships, as well as innovative ideas about ourselves. We have a conflict in our values and we get opportunities to clarify what we really want.

1st - Friday – Sun Parallel Mercury - We want to assert ourselves today but where to put our energy is a difficult decision.

2nd - Saturday – Venus Contra-parallel Jupiter, Mercury Parallel Venus, Mars Semi-square Pluto, Mercury Contra-parallel Jupiter, Venus Opposite Jupiter – This is one of those days, just when you think you have it all figured out, something else shows up. It is easy to tap into abundance now, just be willing to limit your focus. Doing everything is impossible.

3rd – Sunday – Sun Opposite Jupiter – Daylight Saving time starts - The status quo needs to be shaken up and innovation is at hand.

4th – Monday – We are in a dreamy mood most of the day. Let things come to you.

5th – Tuesday – Venus Sextile Neptune – Realizing an ideal is very important today. Be willing to work for what you believe in.

6th – Wednesday – Sun Sextile Neptune – Small efforts, correctly aligned, bring big results some time later.

7th – Thursday – We feel in a hurry but this isn’t the time to initiate, better to focus on completion of things already in motion.

8th – Friday – Mars Trine Jupiter, Venus Square Saturn, the a New Moon Eclipse at 19 degrees of Aries at 3:32 PM EDT – All relationships are up for a deep examination now.

9th – Saturday – Mercury Semi-square Neptune – Don’t be worried about what you can’t get done right now.

10th - Sunday – Sun Square Saturn, Sun Parallel Venus, Venus Semi-square Uranus, Venus Conjunct the North Node – Obligations can keep us involved with family and friends, but be prepared for the unexpected. New involvements and ways of being can help up move into a new way of being.

11th – Monday – Venus Trine Pluto, then parallel Uranus - Powerful forces move us toward genuine innovation. Enthusiasm and openness bring us to success.

12th – Tuesday – Sun Contra-parallel Uranus, Mercury Semi-square Mars - Quick change presents us with some new problems to solve. Acting with resolve only takes us part of the distance. Luck comes in the form of other people.

13th – Wednesday – Mars Conjunct Neptune, the Sun Semi-square Uranus – Compassion is stirred and we feel inspired to get more involved in grand causes. Progress is made when we are able to work in concert with others. Self assertion at the wrong moment can cause difficulties.

14th – Thursday – Sun Trine Pluto – Intense feelings correctly expressed have a deep impact. Make sure you are having the effect you want.

15th– Friday – Mercury Semi-square Neptune – When you work for the common good you will see positive results. Trouble emerges when you are in a hurry.

16th – Saturday – We need self-expression in order to feel connected to life right now. This may require real effort for us to move in a new direction. Conversation helps keep others happy as we create something new.

17th – Sunday - We have a genuine need to get out of our ordinary pattern now. Try something new.

18th – Monday – Mercury Semi-sextile Venus, Mars Quincunx Saturn then Parallel Neptune – It’s a day of decisions. It is not always easy to let go of the past comforts, but this is necessary in order to have the new good that is approaching us.

19th – Tuesday – We are trying to create stability and circumstances seem to get in the way. World events move faster than we can right now.

20th – Wednesday – Practical considerations cut into time spent with people. We may have to choose between getting our emotional needs met and taking care of obligations. A dose of self honesty can help to make the choices.

21st – Thursday – Harmony is available now. Be willing to take the appropriate steps in order to achieve the deep personal satisfaction that you are capable of today.

22nd – Friday – Mars Parallel Pluto – Organize your life now. It is time to eliminate some good things so you can focus on the great things that you can accomplish.

23rd – Saturday – Mars Sextile Pluto, Venus Sesquiquadrates Pluto, Venus Sextiles Uranus – This is a day for dealing with romantic relationships. Perk up your personal life and be willing to share.

24th – Sunday – A Full Moon Eclipse at 4 Taurus/Scorpio at 5:06 AM EDT, Venus Contra-parallel Mars then Quincunx Jupiter – Everything can seem way too big right now. Be willing to close out the relationships that are untenable and concentrate on the most important people in your life.

25th – Monday – Mars Sesquiquadrate Jupiter, Venus Contra-parallel Pluto – Today we are ready for some adventure. This is a lighthearted time for creating something fun for ourselves and those around us.

26th - Tuesday – Mercury Semi-sextile Uranus – We are in a rush but lots can be accomplished quickly. Be willing to put in a few extra hours working on important projects.

27th – Wednesday – Sun Contra-parallel Mars, Venus Contra-parallel Neptune, Mercury Opposite Jupiter – Our energy and enthusiasm is strong. We see more than we can ever convey but we still need to communicate.

28th – Thursday – We accomplish most and are happiest today by staying committed to our present course of action and enjoying continuity of experience in the present moment.

29th – Friday – Sun Sesquiquadrate Pluto, Venus Square Neptune, Sun Sextile Uranus – We have an opportunity to alter our very basic core and take a stand on what we really feel is the right thing to do.

30th – Saturday – Mercury Contra-parallel Jupiter, Sun Contra-parallel Pluto then Quincunx Jupiter, Mars enters Pisces – Hope is strong but real luck requires us to change some fundamental habits. Good news should find us receptive.
