We
are offered an opportunity to take a giant step forward
this month as the forces of the future (Uranus) are
equally posed with the historical forces of conformity
(Saturn). Also, Jupiter (King of the Gods) is in an
encouraging trine to Pluto (Lord of death and regeneration).
It is possible to take very progressive maneuvers
to improve our position in every arena of life. This
holiday season, in addition to the normal personal
concerns of the time, people have a strong focus on
world events. Everyone tends to pay more attention
to the world economy, to the political climate as
we now see more direct connection with the world situation
and our everyday lives. With both Mars (Masculine
planet) and Venus (Feminine planet) in Scorpio all
month, relationships will tend to be passionate and
intense.
1st
- Sunday - Mars enters Scorpio, Venus conjuncts Venus,
and Venus semi-squares Pluto. Powerful feelings need
to be controlled.
2nd
- Monday - Sun contra-parallel Saturn. A serious mood
creates a longing for life to be different.
3rd
- Tuesday - Venus parallels Mars. Powerful feelings
for the opposite sex can arouse our amorous feelings
today. We do ourselves a big favor if we can see that
we have the power to change ourselves without the
need of the alchemical interaction with others.
4th
Wednesday - The New Moon at 11 Sagittarius at 2:35am
EST is an eclipse. Jupiter turns Retrograde. Mercury
semi-square Neptune, then Mars semi-square Pluto,
Strength is needed today but unrealistic thinking
needs to be turned into inspiration. Eclipses are
always very powerful times to meditate. We need to
look beyond our own lives at this moment to experience
happiness.
5th
- Mercury sextiles Uranus. Now is a great time to
put energy into a new plan of action.
6th
- Friday - Mercury opposes Saturn. Corrective guidelines
from the world can help us achieve our real long range
goals.
8th
- Sunday - Mercury enters Capricorn. Mercury (Messenger
of the Gods) and Saturn (lord of Karma) are in each
other's signs now. Big plans have a chance to succeed
if practical applications are carefully thought out.
You can re-evaluated plan hatched a week ago. Today
you will have a more critical eye towards the details.
9th
- Monday - Sun conjuncts Pluto. We are on the road
to profound deep change. Be ready to take bold new
steps.
10th
- Tuesday - Sun trines Jupiter. Now we can expand
our circle of influence with great joy. Everyone can
be taken care of with a little forethought.
13th
- Friday - Uranus Parallels Pluto. We can be shocked
into a new way of looking at the world today.
14th
- Saturday - Mercury sextile Mars and Venus square
Neptune. Practical applications are favored right
now and our emotional life may be due for another
shake-up.
15th
- Sunday - Mars parallel Uranus, Mercury sextile Venus,
Mars parallel Pluto, Mars square Neptune, Mercury
semi-square Uranus. It's a tough day to navigate.
Best to wait and see what others bring to you. Actions
can be wrong-headed and confused.
16th
- Sun semi-squares Neptune, Venus in hard aspect to
Saturn. Also, Saturn trines Uranus and Sun semi-squares
Mars. The balance between new and old ideas and methods
is now secure. However, our personal difficulties
require us to make some difficult adjustments to our
immediate situations.

- Sun Opposes Saturn, then sextile Uranus. Mars makes
a Sesquiquadrate to Saturn. Hard work and positive
attitudes are required to make progress today. Traditional
rules and customs give context to our new innovations.

- Wednesday - Jupiter trines Pluto. It's a wonderful
time to start enterprises we wish to be successful
and long lasting.
19th
- Full Moon at 27 degrees Gemini at 2:10pm EST. This
is a moment to rest and think positively on the things
that have been achieved.
20th
- Mercury quincunx Jupiter then semi-sextile Pluto.
The universe favors bold steps now, but how to take
them in our personal lives. We need to be satisfied
with incremental progress.
21st
- Saturday - Sun semi-square Venus. Sun enters Capricorn.
This is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the
year. Something we are attached to must be sacrificed
in order to obtain something else of higher importance.
23rd
- Monday - Venus parallels Uranus, Sun Parallels Mercury.
This is a time for the emotions to get a real workout.
We all tend to drive hard to get some response from
those we care about.
24th
Sun Sesquiquadrate Jupiter, Venus parallels Pluto,
Venus square Jupiter. We wrestle with the limitations
of our feelings.
25th
Venus semi-sextiles Pluto. Today, on Christmas we
reach some culmination for our emotions. Be willing
to experiment with some overture toward the wild side.
Much can be learned today even if we aren't able to
totally satisfy our emotional life.
26th
- Thursday - Mercury quincunxes Saturn. We are facing
some difficult decisions now. Be willing to see things
in a new way. Merely hard work doesn't bring such
great rewards.
27th
- Friday - Mercury contra-parallel Saturn. Carefully
timed conversations can yield important and long lasting
decisions. Knowing how much to say, when to speak,
and when to keep quiet can aid you today.
28th
Saturday - Mars square Jupiter. Mercury semi-sextiles
Uranus, Mars contra-parallels Jupiter. We all have
an irrepressible desire to drive forward today. Still,
we accomplish most if we are patient with the implementation
of new ideas.
29th
- Sunday - Mars semi-sextile Pluto. A lingering feeling
that we know the answers can stop us from getting
what we need.
30th
- Monday - Saturn Sesquiquadrate Neptune. Progress
is made by getting the appropriate blend of faith
in the future and realistic expectations for ourselves.
31st
- Tuesday - Sun semi-sextile Neptune. Last aspect
of the year here in the Eastern Time Zone is the Moon
conjunct Pluto, echoing the great difficulties of
the period passing away. Pluto in Sagittarius now
is a symbol of transformation of values which is the
way to salvation for us now.
