FEBRUARY

Some
months are peaceful, some months are turbulent. This
is an extremely dynamic month. Lots of activities.
However, the past is the foundation of the present
moment, so events now don't happen in a vacuum.
From
the 1st to the 16th, tremendous excitement builds.
This period, from the New Moon until the Full Moon,
is always a time where energy builds. However this
month is have a special emphasis. Jupiter (King of
the Gods) opposes Neptune (God of the Ocean) as we
build toward the new moon. Consequently, people's
actions and expectations will be quite exaggerated.
We may even receive some big surprise during this
Full Moon period, as the Sun will be conjunct Uranus.
This annual event usually brings some sudden abrupt
change in circumstances. This will be a time for moving
forward with our most far-reaching plans.
The
last two weeks of the month also have some surprises,
but this is mostly an evolution of events that have
their roots in the first half of February.
1st
- Saturday - New Moon at 12 Aquarius 5:57am EST. We
set a new course as the expectations for positive
things to happen during the next period reach a fever
pitch.
2nd
- Sunday -Sun opposite Jupiter, Venus sextile Uranus,
Mars sextile Neptune. Truly a positive day to take
some new action or, to just relax and enjoy the scenery
as the world passes by. Don't be concerned about what
needs to be done today, just enjoy life. However,
overindulgence in anything pleasant can be too much
of a good thing.
3rd
- Monday - Mercury semi-sextile Pluto. New information
helps us understand the workings of the world and
the meaning of events around us.
4th
- Venus enters Capricorn. New decisions made today
are likely to be made on very practical grounds
5th - Wednesday - Mars trine Jupiter. The day belongs
to the swift of foot. Competitive urges can bring
out the best in people today.
6th
- Mars contra-parallel Saturn and Mercury quincunx
Saturn. Reality testing can have a "Brinkmanship"
energy connected with it. Those who are really practical,
experience significant progress.
7th
- Friday - Sun semi-square Venus. New attempts to
solve old problems are successful when we acknowledge
what we have abstracted from past experiences.
8th-
Saturday - Sun sextile Pluto. And today, we can safely
and swiftly move ahead with our long-range visions.
9th
-Sunday - Mercury parallel Venus. Look around you.
The environment itself will give you clues as to how
to bridge the gulf between what you want and what
you have.
10th
- Monday - We have dreams but making them practical
is very important during this time.
11th
- Tuesday - Sun trine Saturn. Be willing to make steady
progress toward worthy yet still distant goals. The
trick is to keep moving, even when your ability for
successfully achievement seems uncertain.
12th
- Wednesday - Sun parallel Pluto, Mercury into Aquarius.
Meaning can come to otherwise senseless work when
it is done for the common good.
16th
Jupiter opposite Neptune, Mars conjunct Pluto, then
the Full Moon at 27 Leo/Aquarius at 6:52pm EST. This
is one intense Full Moon. The urge to explosively
go forward is hard to contain. We tend to be infected
with unrealistic optimism about the future and our
place in it. Far reaching conclusions may emerge from
anything done in haste right now.
17th
- Monday - Sun conjunct Uranus. A surprising turn
of events emerges today as we reach a euphoric feeling
of being beyond our usual limits.
18th
- Tuesday - Mercury sesquiquadrates Saturn, the Sun
enters Pisces. The trick is to see the positive today
and to work along progressive lines without being
in denial about the real problems in our present situation.
20th
- Thursday. - Mars opposites Saturn, Mercury opposite
Jupiter. Big ideas are easy to come by today, but
keep your eye on the details of practicality.
21st
- Friday - Mercury conjunct Neptune, Venus semi-sextile
Pluto. We rest with ease today, as we are relatively
secure in our past actions and very forward-looking
with our future plans.
22nd
- Saturday - Mercury contra-parallel Jupiter. Saturn
turns direct. Big plans are hatched behind the scenes.
23rd
- Sunday - Venus quincunx Saturn. Everything slows
down today. Plans to move forward will change. There
is a spiritual and meditative tone today.
24th
- Monday - Emotions can be quite up and down, then
up again today. You may find others unreliable today.
Do your best to give to others what you would like
them to do for you.
25th
- Tuesday - Mars Sesquiquadrate Jupiter. Enthusiastic
bursts of energy create a change in the atmosphere.
Be prepared to slow down after putting forth a great
deal of effort.
26th
- Wednesday - Mercury sextile Pluto. The light of
day emerges today. Scientific and humanitarian pursuits
are favored now.
27th
- Thursday - Mars semi-square Neptune, Venus semi-sextile
Mars. It's a day of grand visions and personal time
with lots of thought about our next big adventure.
28th
- Friday - Mercury trine Saturn. Sun quincunx Jupiter.
It's a time of joy and peace. Make progress quietly
without making a big show of things and you may find
others much more agreeable than you thought.
