FEBRUARY
2005 by Bob Mulligan
February 2005 offers us opportunity for change; this
is the key theme all month. We are in transition;
relationships, self-image, and career direction are
all arenas where we are ripe for growth. If you feel
somewhat ungrounded in these departments, know you
are not alone. This condition is not a byproduct of
your age, social group, or special life circumstances;
instead, you are experiencing a universal wave which
is creating the basis for wide scale social change.
Of course, your personal response to these energies
will be a byproduct of your life situation indicated
in your personal horoscope. Everyone on the planet
has been evaluating self, other, and life purpose
(consciously or unconsciously) for the last several
years. Now we have reached a crescendo, a turning
point. Relationships are in focus and provide the
power to transform these two other fundamental areas
of your life.
We
will be turning our attention inward from the 1st
until the 7th. It is possible to observe how every
relationship in life is a direct extension of some
aspect of our own nature.
Long
established projects must be dealt with properly from
the 8th and lasting until the 15th . Our main thrust
now is how to utilize our past experiences to create
a more profound future. Progressive ideas abound but
they have to be attached to something we have been
working on already to have much significance in our
daily lives.
With
the first Quarter Moon and Mercury entering Pisces
we find ourselves making grand adjustments for new
people, old friends, and ongoing responsibilities
between the 16th and the 21st.
February
21st to the 28th is extremely important for self transformation.
A new wave of social concern sweeps the planet as
we move toward a new optimism and openness. Emphasis
now will be on seeing opportunity for improvement
of relationships.
1st
Tuesday Jupiter turns Retrograde - Something beautiful
is getting ready to happen and we can feel it today.
We rely less on outside stimulation and get more in
contact with ourselves.
2nd
Wednesday Mercury Parallel Venus, Mercury Semi-Sextile
Uranus, Venus enters Aquarius - We are prodded to
think in new ways today. Our underlying feelings shift
and we are willing to try something we have never
done before. This is not only good for us, it is essential
to our development.
3rd
Thursday Sun Parallel Neptune, Sun Conjunct Neptune
- We cant help engaging in a quest for clarity today;
but know that while the big picture can be crystal
clear, the details are best left for a while.
4th
Friday Mercury Semi-Square Pluto - Many people
are stirred up today. Its better to keep your own
counsel rather than tell other people off. Translate
thoughts into constructive acts and you automatically
eliminate destructive mental patterns.
5th
Saturday Things slow down today. Stay with your
previously established plans and let others take care
of themselves.
6th
Sunday Mars enters Capricorn, Mars Semi-Squares
Neptune - This is a strongly inspirational day. You
do best if you are able to be specific in what you
want to accomplish now.
7th
Monday Venus Semi-sextile Uranus, Sun Parallel
Pluto, Sun Trine Jupiter - This is a highly charged
and exuberant day. Be prepared to make quick changes
to your plans. Take some chances, trust life, you
will be amazed.

Tuesday Mercury Conjunct Neptune, New Moon at
20 Aquarius at 5:28pm EST - Expect the best. Be willing
to work for it, then be willing to wait. Dream but
plan.

Wednesday Mercury Semi-square Mars, Venus Semi-square
Pluto - Work at getting things really right. We have
plenty of energy. It isnt easy but understanding
is within reach in our most important relationships
if we are willing to go the extra mile. Relationships
are key to personal transformation now.

Thursday Sun Quincunx Saturn, Mercury Trine Jupiter
- Planning is fun today. Avoid taking on other peoples
obligations but make sure you are handling your own
properly. As you overcome your fears, you will take
some positive steps forward.

Saturn - Shortcuts can create more work; re-negotiate
the manner in which others are helping out in your
life. Your inspiration of the moment encourages you
to take on more of everything; be sure you can complete
what you start. Reevaluate your time commitments.

is a major issue. Do we have the perseverance to do
the right thing? We know what we should do and today
we strive to be true to our own perceptions. It may
seen like religious fanatics are having a field day
with the energy now.

Pluto - It is possible to make a gigantic leap in
consciousness. Take things slow, plan, then jump abruptly
into your new perspective. Its all or nothing in
one great move.

Monday Sun Conjunct Mercury, Venus Conjunct Neptune
- We reach decisions today. There is a finality to
many things. Its a beautiful time for artistic expression
and for reaching a brand new understanding with your
partner or associates. Create harmony in a new way.
Use your imagination.

Tuesday Mars Sextile Uranus - Our desire for freedom
is the force behind every major decision. However,
structured, measured progress is the manner for accomplishing
anything we wish to last. Be willing to meet people
half way.

Wednesday Mercury enters Pisces - We change gears
as our communications soften. We focus more on feeling
and less on facts. Establishing trust as the foundation
of our relationships can matter more than achieving
goals right now.

Thursday Venus Trine Jupiter, Venus Parallel Neptune,

eliminate fear; the world is changing; we need to
be able to take opportunity as it emerges.

Still, we need dreams if we are going to have goals

discipline, discretion, planning, and patience can
lead us to a productive path. Important communications

today fun and even exhilarating. Even the craziest
thoughts may contain a grain of a new truth.

Venus enters Pisces - Enthusiasm bubbles all over
today. Love is in the air and it is easy to be swept

of the day but much can be accomplished by simply
turning your emotional truth toward a safe channel,
then make practical decisions based on security.

can emerge in the strangest places. Be willing to

without love and today we have a chance to experience
a higher love.
