May is a turning
point, a dividing line. It is with great difficulty that we assess
the road ahead. We have finally reached a place of acceptance and
asimilation of the deep changes of world circumstances from last
fall. Let's face it though, there is still some further ground clearing
in human consciousness that must be done before we can move on to
a better world. May sets the tone for these changes.
Individually
we can make great strides forward in our lives. However, collectively
we don't seem to fare as well now. The big picture looks bleak even
as opportunities abound in our personal lives. This is the most
fertile month in our lives for making deep lasting personal changes.
However, On the national and international level this is a very,
very difficult time period. As I commented earlier, last year and
in January 2002, the world changes permanently under that Saturn
Pluto opposition. May 25th this aspect completes for the third and
final time. General patterns in the sky seems to indicate a world
in conflict with itself. This atmosphere will carry on into June,
then gradually dissipate as a new world is born. Our world is in
for a rough time of it. However, at the same time, we genuinely
can clarify and resolve many small issues in our own personal lives.
And, in the long run this is great because; the correct handling
of small issues leads to resolution of big issues. Further, as we
universally handle concerns in our private lives this automatically
has a curative effect on our collective lives. After all, governments
symbolize the general will and karma of the people just as our physical
climate reflects the natural movement of our consciousness. More
than most times, with the North Node of the Moon in Gemini (sign
of learning) being jointed by Sun, Moon, Saturn, Mars, Venus, and
Mercury, we have the ability to learn something new.
On the 1st we
have Sun Sextile Jupiter showing opportunity to rectify things in
the home and family. Its A day of feeling good. Quick solutions
to old problems as we focus on learning something new. With Mercury
parallel both Mars Jupiter we can meaningfully communicate what
we understand form our current situation.
On May 2nd Mars
parallels Jupiter. We are in a process now of reorganizing, studying
and finding comfort. Time is of the essence. Tie up loose ends.
The 4th brings
both Mars conjunct Saturn, and Venus trine Neptune. Difficulties
are present. If you see solutions, implement them. If you don't
just wait. This is a great day for enjoying the arts. Innovation
is favored now. New forms are emerging.
On the 5th Venus
parallels Jupiter. Communicate your feeling to those that matter
most. There is a positive energy emerging. Catch the wave.
On the 7th Venus
conjuncts Saturn, then Parallels Mars. We all work on finding new
methods to implement our values. If may seem that key relationships
are headed for the "Meat Grinder". However, the good news is that
today presents us with an opportunity to prioritize people and activities
in an edifying way.
May 8th Mars
opposes Pluto. There is potential for violence today. Avoid anyone
stuck in the past or anyone that might provoke an argument.
On the 9th Sun
contra-parallels Neptune, and Venus opposes Pluto. Its easy to feel
that we are "in over our head" today. Best to just wait for things
to change, sometimes doing nothing is the right response.
The 10th Venus
conjuncts Mars showing that light affable communications can be
the ticket to keeping the energy vibrant between people. Avoid trying
to deal with issues other than those that are immediate today. This
can lay the foundation for a better future.
On the 11th
Mercury parallels Mars. Important decisions hastily made brings
necessary yet unforeseen consequences.
12th New Moon
at 21 Taurus at 6:46am EDT. We are at our best when we meditate
for world unity by seeking our own mental peace and coming to terms
with our own personal history. A day of profound introspection.
13th Neptune
turns Retrograde. Our connection with culture may take a new road.
We are more likely to see the results of our actions.
14th Moon conjuncts
Mars and Venus, and also parallels Jupiter and Mercury. The real
challenge is to sort through the myriad of options today. Quick,
bold action can bring us victory "snatched from the jaws of defeat".
Don't underestimate the power of well placed communication.
15th Mercury
turns retrograde. We enter the recapitulative cycle. What we have
done in the past needs a second look. Edit, revise, refine.
16th Mercury
parallels Jupiter. We get a second chance to straighten out things
with people close to us.
17th Venus hard
aspect Neptune, and Jupiter hard aspect Uranus. Luck abundance and
release of tension are all present now.
19th Venus trines
Uranus then crosses into Cancer. Emotional transitions as necessary.
Seize the moment. Circumstances are changing now. Innovation in
communication leads to emotional connections.
On the 21st
the Sun moves into Gemini. We move deeper into the energy of spring
which is to be the most healing of seasons. We pause today to examine
our way of gathering information.
The 22nd Mercury
parallels Saturn, and Mars sesquiquadrate Neptune. Reevaluation
of past mistakes reveals overlooked underlying value. We may discover
possible avenues for overcoming fears. Taking a "leap of faith"
has to make sense. But, great advancement is possible if we think
our way through problems piece by piece.
25th Saturn
opposite Pluto. Change what you can and be patient. Most pain is
projection.
On the 26th
we have an Eclipse at the time of the Full Moon at 5 Sagittarius
at 7:52 am EDT. Also we have Mars trining Uranus. When our motives
are pure profound unspeakable change for the world is possible.
27th Sun conjuncts
Mercury, then the Moon conjuncts Pluto and opposes Saturn. Affirm
your truth and be willing to establish new mental habits. Give up
the desire to be right.
28th Mars enters
Cancer. We are at home with our emotions. However, we may still
suffer because not everyone close to us is comfortable with our
feelings. Unexamined episodes from our past may be unearthed by
others. Take the initiative. Life is simpler when we explain what
we are doing.
29th Venus Quincunx
Neptune. Escape and over estimation can lead us to makeshift solutions
which only tide us over. Instinctive habits can both buoy us up
and hold us back.
31st Jupiter
Quincunx Pluto. Once again we are all offered a method for making
peace with ourselves. We must be willing to relinquish the toxic
ingredients in our personality in order to connect with others.
