NOVEMBER 2003 by Bob Mulligan

We have two Eclipses this month; one at the Full Moon on the 8th, the other at the New Moon on the 23rd. Eclipses always produce gigantic amounts of energy, for good or ill. These two particular eclipses signify our movement from a cycle of harvest to a new burst of freedom. We have been ending something. The heavy emphasis on earth (Solidity) and water (Empathy) shows that the concerns of the world will reach a practical conclusion. Now we are preparing to open up to something different. The emphasis is on fire (Enthusiasm), showing that joyful effort helps us find a new direction.

Our opinions and attitudes can switch so many times during November that we may feel we are in a revolving door. Much activity on the international scene has arrived at a watershed moment. From this month on “the die is cast” for a while. We won’t have a chance to collectively change our fundamental direction until next August. We can all help the world to become a better place by concentrating on the positive in our every day life. Meditating on world harmony is always a good thing. The time of these two upcoming eclipses can magnify our group effort. First, the Lunar Eclipse on Saturday, November 8th at 10:14pm EST. Second, the Solar Eclipse on Sunday, November 23rd at 5:59pm EST.

1st – Saturday – Venus Sesquiquadrate Saturn, Mercury Sextile Jupiter, Mercury Trine Saturn, Jupiter Sextile Saturn, Venus Square Uranus. It’s quite an emotional day. We are tempted to break out of our current patterns as the road ahead can look frightening. Stay optimistic and simplify your undertakings.

2nd – Sunday – Venus enters Sagittarius. It’s a dreamy and adventuresome day. Excitement and romance are in the air. Do something new today.

3rd – Monday – Sun Square Neptune. Planning long term is difficult now, but have faith. The energy now can be a fun ride. Practical concerns can be reviewed seriously in just two days.

4th – Tuesday – Mercury Parallel Neptune. Mercury Semi-sextile Pluto. Baby steps toward distant goals gives today a positive feeling. Meditate and stay calm now. The Moon is void of course all day so decision-making and purchases are not favored.

5th – Wednesday – Sun Trine Saturn. A seriousness is in the air, but this is still a very creative day. Long-term projects respond positively to firm decisions now.

6th – Thursday - Sun Sextile Jupiter. The future can look very bright. Stay focused on the positive and the practical. Try to understand and communicate even the things that you don’t like.

7th – Friday – Plan for the very best of circumstances. Slow down. Accomplish things one at a time.

8th – Saturday – Uranus Stationary Direct, Venus Contra-Parallel Saturn, Mars Semi-sextile Neptune, then a Full Moon Eclipse at 16 Taurus, at 8:13pm EST. Have a great vision of world peace and humans living in harmony with Mother Nature.

9th – Sunday – Rest today. Quiet comforts and living for today are favored now.

10th – Monday – Mercury Sesquiquadrate Saturn. We can see what we want today. Don’t be afraid to ask for your heart’s desire.

11th - Tuesday - Venus Sextile Neptune, Sun Semi-sextile Pluto, Mercury Square Uranus. It’s a creative and visionary day. Contain your thoughts until you have time to “check in” with yourself. See what you really want to accomplish.

12th – Wednesday – Mercury enter Sagittarius, Sun Parallel Neptune, Venus Square Mars. A strong vision of the future can grab you today. It is possible to unconsciously hurt someone you care about. Be careful to make sure that your intentions are conveyed by your actions.

13th – Thursday - Venus Quincunx Saturn, Mercury Contra-parallel Saturn. It can be time to review your main commitments. Old habits can get in the way of genuine forward progress. Be on the lookout for opportunities for self-improvement.

14th – Friday – Mars Trine Saturn, Venus Square Jupiter. It can be a great time to have fun. A party or social gathering may be in order.

15th – Saturday – Look for opportunities to express yourself. Take delight in entertainment today. Imaginative energy runs high.

16th - Sunday – This can be a highly emotional day. Personal energy can fluctuate from wildly enthusiastic to almost non-existent. Plan carefully.

17th – Monday – Venus Conjunct Pluto. We reach a closing point of some major decisions. The future looks different from this day forward.

18th – Tuesday – Competition is in people’s blood today. Be willing to make small steps toward a long-range goal and today can be fun.

19th – Wednesday – Mercury Sextile Neptune, Mercury Parallel Venus. Communicate your ideas and be available to others. Listening to others can prompt very positive new ideas.

20th – Thursday – Sun Sesquiquadrate Saturn, Mars Opposite Jupiter, Mercury Quincunx Saturn. Don’t start fights you can’t win. Be willing to re-negotiate old obligations. Be observant; you can make some beneficial deals.

21st - Friday - Sun Square Uranus, Mars Contra-Parallel Jupiter. Willfulness and arguments can create disruption today. Find useful outlets for your energy.

22nd – Saturday – Sun enter Sagittarius, Mercury Square Jupiter. Please be prepared for the unexpected. Opportunities open up. Progress comes but you need to proceed with caution.

23rd – Sunday - Venus Semi-Square Neptune, New Moon Eclipse at 1 Sagittarius at 5:59pm EST, Mercury Square Mars. Envision a new life. Plan to make progressive changes through the next two weeks.

24th – Monday – Mercury Conjunct Pluto. Having the strength of your convictions doesn’t mean taking anyone to task for their beliefs. However, affirm your own perceptions, and be willing to act on them.

25th – Tuesday – Lofty visions are with you. There is a cheerful mood in the air. Find a way to translate your ideas into practical channels.

26th – Wednesday – Venus Sextile Uranus, Mars Square Pluto, Venus enters Capricorn. High ideals and brilliant insights need some grounding. Be willing to make slow, steady progress.

27th – Thursday - Starting something new can be a good way to have an enjoyable day. Be open to doing things differently. It’s Thanksgiving and feeling grateful always helps to spread the joy.

28th – Friday – A crises of faith can confront us today as we work to sort out our higher self and our obligations. Household tasks can take some time away from our fun.

29th – Saturday – Mercury Semi-Square Neptune. It is hard to separate the true from the false today. Surprising changes in our routines come without warning.

30th – Sunday – Going at the really important things today makes this a great time. We can be spread to thin and run out of energy. Prioritize.
