OCTOBER 2002

It finally is
dawning on the world this month that which was not possible to see
two years ago, we are living in a new era. The 21st century is not
just an extension of the dreams and fears of the 20th century, it
is a world with different rules and expectations than the one we
left behind. In October of 2002 a new "we can do it" attitude is
forming as we all move ahead in our lives. The big dangers this
month are over-extension and self involvement. The rewards now are
second chances to go back and do things right, and chances to start
in a new direction. This is the fork in the road.
On the 1st Venus
aspects Saturn and Sun trines Neptune. Inspiration runs high. We
are all in a meditative state.
Wednesday the
2nd Moon conjuncts Jupiter and Mercury retrogrades back into Virgo.
Some last minute corrections require attention today, but, a real
opportunity to advance is present. Thinking and putting the final
finishing touches on some big project can advance your situation
over the next few days.
On the 3rd the
Sun aspects Mars and then Uranus, as Mercury squares Saturn. Expect
lots of abrupt sharp energy. We tend to act first and think about
it latter.
On the 4th Mars
sesquiquadrates Neptune. There will be strong pushes forward, but
not much movement. Go with the flow today. Don’t fight the direction.
Saturday the
5th the Sun is contra-parallel to the Moon. Collect your thoughts.
Take today to rest.
Sunday the 6th
we have the Sun sextiling Jupiter, then the New Moon at 13 degrees
of Libra at 7:19am EDT. Meditate, start in a new direction. Nurture
new energy and enthusiasm. Everyone’s spirits lift a little.
On the 8th the
Sun Sextiles Pluto. Real help is available today, but you do have
to ask for it.
Mercury Squares
Saturn indicating a day of change on Tuesday the 9th. Switching
from one activity to another is not always easy it will but now
be necessary.
On the 10th
Venus turns retrograde, ushering in a period of inspecting the past.
Venus is in the sign Scorpio and will soon be in square to Jupiter.
It is definitely a day to take stock of our extremes. This is a
time of transitions. Hard work may be necessary, but relief is in
sight.
Friday the 11th
Mercury enters Libra. Saturn turns retrograde at 29 Gemini. Be calm,
an important new perspective can surface today allowing clearer
decisions.
On the 13th
the Sun and moon reach their first quarter and Jupiter makes a semi-square
to Saturn. Its Sunday, we may re-evaluate last week. If we are in
a pensive mood we look much further back.
Mars is in a
hard aspect to both Saturn then Jupiter on the 14th. Energy is available
today, but acting in a way that furthers our goals requires careful
planning.
Tuesday the
15th Mars enters Libra, then Venus semi-square Mars. These are romance
indicators, however with the aura of excess in the air it is hard
to make intelligent long lasting decisions just now.
On the 17th
Venus Squares Jupiter. Our passions and desires can be overwhelming.
Mercury trines
Neptune, then the Sun trines Uranus on Friday the 18th. There are
tremendous opportunities today. The force for advancement is very
solid now.
On the 19th
Mercury trines the North node of the Moon. If you can maintain some
common sense, today offers great opportunity to achieve a practical
lasting harmony with others.
Neptune turns
direct on Sunday the 20th. It’s possible for a higher vision of
truth to open doors of opportunity.
On the 21st
we have the Full Moon occurring at 3:21am EDT. Now is the time to
seek harmony with yourself and the world.
Tuesday the
22nd the Sun trines Saturn, then Mercury sextiles Jupiter. New relationships
and a renewed self confidence can carry us forward.
On the 23rd
Mercury Sextiles Pluto showing a time of serious, focused discussions
bringing positive rewards.
Sunday the 27th
Jupiter trines Pluto. Now is the time to move forward. This is a
Plutonian time. Pluto rules blind force. We find the news has been
dominated all month with people jockeying for position power. We
have a unique opportunity now to change the way we relate to each
other.
On the 28th
Mars trines Neptune, then Mercury trines Uranus. Enlightened answers
to hard put questions emerge as we are all swept up in the feeling
of the inevitable.
Wednesday the
30th Venus squares Neptune, then Mercury trines Saturn. Emotional
difficulties and mental clarity make this a mixed day. We do best
to stay on course with pre-determined plans.
Thursday the
31st is the last day of October. We should be pleased as much has
been accomplished this month. Today, the Sun conjuncts Venus, then
squares Neptune, finally Mercury enters Scorpio. At its best, today
can be used for planing and problem solving. Research and discover
are strongly favored now.
